더운 날씨이군요.
이렇게 후텁지근한 날에는 역시 이런 음악을 들어줘야죠.

Van Halen 은 전설이 되어가고 있는 락밴드이죠.
네덜란드 출신의 Eddie Van Halen - 기타,Wolfgang Van Halen-베이스 , Alex Van Halen, 드럼의 형제들이 중심이 되어 결성된 밴드입니다.
David Lee Roth, Sammy Hagar 등 파워풀 하면서도 허스키한 보컬리스트들이 거쳐가면서 미국 락음악의 최고봉으로 자리잡습니다.
특히 기타리스트인 Eddie Van Halen 은 기타혁명이라고 일컬어질만큼 새로운 테크닉을 선보이면서 기타리스트의 전설로 추앙받고 있습니다.

이 곡 Can't Stop Loving You 는 95년 발표된 앨범 Balance에 수록된 곡입니다.
이 앨범 자켓에는 샴쌍둥이의 사진이 있었는데..
사전검열이 있었던 당시 우리나라에서는 샴쌍둥이 중에 아이 한명의 사진이 지워져서 나오기도 했답니다.
재밌는 것은 이것이 오히려 다른나라 컬렉터들의 표적이 되어 외국에 레어아이템으로 팔려나가기도 했다는군요.

하여간 이 음악 뭔가 막 달려줘야 될 거 같은 그런 음악이죠.
